By Fiona Burrows - District Commissioner ⚜ 2021 What a year it has been! I wanted to thank you for everything you have been doing to make Scouting fantastic in Rushcliffe! Hopefully you and your families are well and managing to avoid catching Covid. Over the last 12 months we have managed to return to a much more normal scouting programme and all being well this will continue into 2022. I would like to say a big thank you for all your help and support over the past year. You have been amazing putting up with a return to lockdown, technical difficulties, putting up with all the changes put in place and thank you also for all the training undertaken as I know it hasn’t always been easy. I am really hopeful that District Camp will finally be able to happen, St George’s Day no longer a virtual event and a presentation evening is planned for all those who have achieved Top Awards over the last 2 years as well as the many exciting activities organised within your groups over the year.
